2009-2010 Schedule

The schedule contains NJUSFA Division events (NJ Cup Events and National Qualifier Events) as well as club sponsored events. All times listed are close of check-in. Check-in opens 1/2-hour earlier. "TBD" means "To Be Determined". We post a close of check-in time for a club event if the club informs us. Contact the club prior to an event to confirm the close of check-in time of their events.

Proof of membership

The 2009-2010 season started with August 1, and proof of 2009-2010 season membership will be needed for all USFA tournaments. You can renew or join via the Internet at http://www.usfencing.org and use the link for membership at the top of the page for a $5 added fee. Mailed in or faxed membership forms are also accepted. If you are faxing in your membership form, include a fax back form so that you have proof that your form has been submitted. You can download the USFA membership form here. IF YOU JOINED USFA TOWARDS THE END OF THE 2008-2009 SEASON, please check with USFA, your membership payment may also cover the new season. Remember to bring your USFA cards and proof of any recent ratings change to competitions. Those joining USFA at the door should bring a completed form

Events that require pre-registration

There will be NO mail in registrations for Division events. Division-run events will follow a $35/$75 fee structure. Preregistration/$35 fee ends one-week before the tournament after which time the fee rises to $75. It is also $75 to register at the door. The $35 fee is composed of a $10 tournament fee and a $25 event fee. No exceptions to late fees so fencers should sign up as soon as possible. All refunds must be requested no later than one-week prior to the tournament. After that time, no refunds of the entry fee will be made. If you prefer not to pay electronically by credit card, please contact George Bowden at gbowden514@earthlink.net to make arrangements to pay by the end of the preregistration period. After the end of the preregistration period and at the door, the fee will be $75. All refunds must be requested no later than one-week prior to the tournament. After that time, no refunds of the entry fee will be made.

New Jersey Cup Events

The New Jersey Division presents the New Jersey Cup to the top fencer in each event, based on results in the major division events (the Fall Festival, the Hay Fever Open and the Division Championship).
